Mmmmmm, short post today – I popped on to give y’all a new smoothie recipe! SO YUMMERS! I ran out of baby spinach, which is what I always use in my green smoothies… so I tried something new. Chard! Organic Rainbow chard actually. And guess what? It’s post-worthy
Note: Fresh or frozen fruits work fine, I like to use at least some frozen because it makes a nice thick, cold smoothie. Today I didn’t have frozen banana or pineapple, so I used fresh. I’d have preferred the banana frozen, today’s wasn’t as cold as I like it but the flavor was awesome!
Tropi-Chard Smoothie
- 100g. fresh chard
- 250g. pineapple
- 250g. (frozen) mango
- 200g. banana
- 2c. pure water
- 4 (tiny) scoops stevia
Blend all in Vita (I haven’t mentioned how much I freaking love my VitaMix lately! Making this smoothie I was reminded, lol! I use it almost every day… It’s AH-MAZ-ING *giggle*) or regular blender until all smoothie-creamy. Enjoy! OH, and also, if you don’t like things AS sweet, try making it without any stevia at first – you might enjoy it that way too!
P.s. CCK posted an amazing looking fudge (SUGAR FREE FUDGE!) recipe today – go check her out, this gal is so creative with her chocolates!
